SeriesFest - Season 10
May 1 - 5, 2024

SeriesFest
is a non-profit organization dedicated to championing artists at the forefront of episodic storytelling. With year-round educational programs, initiatives supporting underserved voices, and professional development opportunities, SeriesFest inspires, educates, and connects a worldwide community of creators.

Each year SeriesFest culminates in a highly-curated and celebrated Denver-based festival and marketplace. Dedicated to showcasing innovative episodic content, the annual festival (May 1 - 5, 2024) also includes a musical performance and network screening at the world-renowned Red Rocks Amphitheater, in-competition independent pilot screenings, panels, workshops, live reads, parties and network television premieres.

Pitch-A-Thon!

Independent content creators will have the opportunity to participate in an exclusive live pitch session at SeriesFest: Season 8 in Denver with top television, new media and digital execs in hopes of moving their projects - and careers - forward. Submissions in this category are strictly projects in script phase (unproduced).

HOW IT WORKS

In the weeks leading up to SeriesFest, creators selected for the Pitch-A-Thon, will participate in a two-part workshop to hone their pitch skills. Creators will be paired with industry mentor, Krista Gano, as well as participate in an exclusive workshop lead by, Working Artist Group.

The mentorship that SeriesFest provided me in the Pitch-A-Thon was so very valuable to our project. We were honored to be selected, but the mentors and overall focus they gave us to hone in our pitch was invaluable. I look forward to being a friend to the festival for years to come and would encourage anyone to participate if they can.

I was so excited to be selected into the SeriesFest pich-a-thon because I had heard absolutely incredible things about the festival and also heard of its reputation as being a “Sundance for TV.” I was expecting the big names, the great panels, and the strong projects from my peers. What I wasn’t expecting was all the behind-the-scenes support we got in order to help us prepare and hone our pitch for the event. Between Krista our coach, our mentors Charlie and Daniel, and the practice pitch we got to do with all the presenters, I felt ready to shine. My writing partner and I are taking meetings as a direct result of our participation in SeriesFest.
